Bellevue, WA., Feb, 4, 2017. -- Athletes on Seattle's Eastside celebrated tonight as a brand new swim, bike and run training option launched at a packed party held at Mercato Stellina restaurant in Bellevue, WA. Team PR Performance, a training team headed up by Coach Rocky Ursino, will immediately begin offering local athletes team workout options in swimming, biking and running at facilities on the Eastside.

The founding principle of this team is to give each athlete, no matter what their level, the opportunity to improve.

Over seventy friends and athletes crowded in to toast the new team. As the venue grew to full capacity, it was clear that many in the crowd were long-time friends and athletes who had come to celebrate and promote the various triathlon disciplines of swim, bike and run.

"The founding principle of this team is to give each athlete, no matter what their level, the opportunity to improve" explains Ursino.  "PR stands for personal record. Victory in this sport is not achieved relative to others, but rather to yourself. When you do better in a race than you ever did before, when you PR, that's a win. Period."

Beginning in March, the team will offer training in three locations. Swim workouts will be at the Samena Swim Club outdoor pool in Bellevue. Indoor team rids will be at the Build Performance Center in Redmond. Track workouts will be held at the Bellevue International School.

In addition to team workouts, athletes will also have the opportunity to hire one-on-one coaching from the team's roster of highly qualified and experienced coaches.

Coach Rocky Ursino, is a 14-time Ironman, Ironman Kona World Championship finisher, 10-time marathoner, 8-time Boston Marathon qualifier, and and USAT-All American, who has been coaching in the Pacific Northwest for 14 years. A Bellevue native, Ursino has a devoted following in the local triathlon, duathlon, aquabike and running communities.
